Erectile Dysfunction the stress factor

Many causes can be related to erectile dysfunction stress being one of them, low self -esteem, depression, and anxiety are all forms of stress. The pressure at work and finances can put a strain on your relationship, and you can’t perform. Stress may not always sexually related but can affect your sex life. Performance anxiety can negatively affect your self-esteem.

“Having low self-esteem may create performance issues. Guilt and shame often go hand to hand. Men who start with low self-esteem may see themselves as unsexy or inadequate. This can lead to erectile problems in bed. Furthermore, people with low self-esteem are more vulnerable to experience guilt, depression, anxiety, and fear of rejection.

All of these factors make ED more likely. Ounce this happens once the man’s self-esteem takes yet another blow. He’s then likely to become trapped in a vicious cycle of poor self-worth and ongoing impotence.

Depression is an illness marked by persistent sadness, feelings of hopelessness, and a pessimistic outlook. Without treatment, symptoms of depression may last indefinitely. Appropriate treatment, however, can help most people feel better to cope with depression.

The most common signs of depression are:

Low self-esteem

Lost of interest in pleasurable activities

Change in appetite

Sleep disturbances

Men who are depressed are more likely to talk about physical symptoms of depression, such as feeling tired, rather than about actual emotions. Men are more likely than women to keep their feelings hidden, but they may become more irritable and aggressive.

Depression that accompanies erectile dysfunction is treatable. The first step in addressing your concerns about erectile dysfunction related to depression is to be honest with yourself, your partner, and your doctor. After depression has been brought out into the open, coping with it will be more comfortable and less stressful.

Alternative therapies may also help with stress and anxiety. Modern treatments include:

Relaxation techniques

Some herbs and supplements for stress, anxiety, and erectile dysfunction:

Panax ginseng, a Chinese and Korean herb that comes in the form of tablets or cream.

Black Maca, a root vegetable, helps alleviate stress and improve sexual performance.

Kava, a plant that can help treats anxiety and improves mood.

Chamomile, a plant that helps reduces the symptoms of anxiety.

Watermelon they call it the natural Viagra.

They call it the natural Viagra, because of the citrulline that produces arginine an amino acid that boosts nitric oxide which relaxes the blood vessels like viagra. Most of the key ingredients come from the rind of the watermelon, and the seeds so don’t go out and buy a seedless watermelon or eat an entire watermelon trying to get the viagra effect. Remember, our goal is to change our eating habits by being more selective about what’s on the menu eat to live and not live to eat.

Black Raspberries: include the seeds that carry a phytochemical which enhances your libido and endurance just a handful a day is all you need.

Did you know blackberries can put you in the mood for sex you may want to eat a few before you have sex?

Bananas: rich in vitamin B6, which causes testosterone to rise; it also has the enzyme bromelain. Studies show from the University of Tasmania one gram of bromelain is all you need to maintain testosterone level. Banana is an excellent source of potassium and riboflavin, just two bananas a day is all you need.

Here are just three examples of changing your eating habits that could not only improve your sexual health but your overall health. Most people do not know that poor eating habits may be the cause of low testosterone. They say you are what you eat.

My goal is to make more healthy choices when going to the grocery store or even to a restaurant. I only buy food that will maintain or increase testosterone. Believe it or not, it’s working. I’m using less ED pills, and my libido is getting stronger.

Be honest with youself consult your Doctor

Be honest with yourself know your body, consult your doctor before taking our making any changes. I remember a time when I thought I had low testosterone my doctor ran some test and told me my testosterone levels are normal. I took the herbal medicine yohombine I started to produce more sperm than usual, I began leaking semen I found out this herbal medicine is good for impotence and it also raises your blood pressure. The corner store where I was purchasing my ginseng from the owner who was Korean said to me that’s junk the real ginseng is medicine cost about $50 to $100.00 so took a trip to Korea town in Los Angeles California and sure enough it was right there I bought tea for $50.00 and the Liquid it was a very big difference. I also had the same problem with Maca Root it was not in its purest forum there is also the Chinese medicine horny goat weed (Yin Yang Hou) and yes a Chinese herder notice his goats were getting horny when they ate this weed, and there is Tongkat Ali in some parts of the world this herb is know as homegrown Viagra.

Like lots of men my age I suffer from erectile dysfunction poor due to poor eating habits. I have been doing some studying and found out that a lot of natural foods have the ingredients we need to have a healthy sex life and strong libido.

Poor Dieting

I’m fifthly three years old my grandmother was raised on a farm, I know nothing about farming except when I was younger I ate healthier because of my grandmother. At home, we had fruit bowls instead of eating potato chips we ate fruits in seasons like strawberries and watermelon in the summer, and plenty of banana’s I didn’t know it at the time but these fruit items produces a healthy libido and a strong testosterone.we did not eat any canned vegetables only fresh produce and water was served at dinner and in restaurants. You were told to eat your veggies and the four food groups was taught in school.

American society is high stressed and filled with a lot of caffeinated beverages, over time will begin to effect your health coffee, cola’s, tobacco, and energy drinks are the major contributors to health problems weak libido and low testarone. There are things we are consuming in large amounts that is effecting our sex lives and poor eating habits create low energy and low energy creates low libido pretty soon you have no sex drive your wife or partner is left wondering what’s wrong with me. Being honest with yourself and your wife is the first step. Low performance create low self-esteem than the psychological effects kick in and now you created a whole other set of problems (psychological problems), depression anxiety etc. The good news is all you have to do is change some bad habits and that’s what we are going to work on eat to live and not live to eat don’t let our taste buds rule. Looking for key food ingredients in our foods and creating a grocery list is the answer.

You are not alone

I want people to learn from healthy eating and selecting the right foods can improve their sex life not having a deteriorating health problems eat to live and not live to eat. Making better food selections at the grocery store and at restaurants looking for food key elements that would improve blood flow and maintain a healthy libido. When was the last time you ate Spanish, broccoli or kale these foods items con easily found on the salad bar at my favorite restaurant and the same with my main en tee’ both dishes will have something to help me improve or maintain a Heath libido.

Here’s what to do

  • Simple changes in our diet can make the world of difference take breakfast for instance think of bananas, oatmeal and strawberries, lunch a fresh greens, garden salad with green spinach and kale and in the mean time snack on some almonds or pistachios and for dinner no fried foods the saturated fats are a libido killer. When I go to restraints or shop at the grocery store I look for key ingredients that’s going to give me a healthy libido. Foods you may not have that can boost your libido. Before we get into foods and supplements we must consult your doctor, you may miss diagnose or take something that is not healthy for you any by the way tabbaco, alcohol, large amounts of coffee are libido killers.
